We design ecosystems that capture carbon naturally

We develop regenerative spaces based on macroalgae, where biology works in favour of environmental balance and real carbon footprint compensation.

We design ecosystems that capture carbon naturally.

Ecosystem design

We select optimal natural environments and adapt them for the sustainable cultivation of Ulva macroalgae, respecting coastal dynamics and enhancing environmental regeneration.

Controlled Ulva cultivation

We develop optimised natural growth systems that capture CO₂, generate sustainable biomass and improve the quality of the marine environment.

The biomass produced makes it possible to transform carbon into a resource, opening pathways for environmental compensation and sustainable use.

Biological capture and valorisation

Natural carbon capture projects with measurable impact.

In Ayamonte, we have developed Symbia’s first regenerative ecosystem, with an area of 150 hectares dedicated to the sustainable cultivation of Ulva macroalgae.

This coastal environment has been designed to take advantage of the natural conditions of the marine ecosystem and turn it into an active biological carbon capture system.

We are not talking about laboratory tests.
We are talking about real territory.

The project makes it possible to:

Validate the natural carbon capture model at large scale through macroalgae growth.
Generate sustainable marine biomass in a controlled environment.
Establish a solid basis for quantifiable carbon footprint certification and compensation.
Demonstrate the viability of a replicable model in other coastal territories.

With 150 operational hectares, Ayamonte represents the first step in a scalable model of marine regeneration.

Ayamonte is the beginning.
The model is replicable.

Activate your natural compensation strategy

Symbia develops regenerative marine ecosystems based on macroalgae, with 150 operational hectares in Ayamonte as the first validated model.

If you are looking for carbon footprint compensation with a real territorial basis and scalability capacity, our team can design a solution adapted to your organisation.

Operational territory.
Measurable impact.
Replicable model.
